Flowering Nose Project: July 2012

About the Project

Flowering Nose is a character the late, great Seth Fisher created.

Essentially the project is to get different artists’ take on him. I participated in the Great Sketch Card Swap 2010 (sponsored by Sadlittes), which will had me doing 30 sketches of various characters for other participants, while they will be doing their version of Flowering Nose for me. So that’s 30 different artists.

Scratch that. Only 20 artists came through on The Swap’s thrice changed deadline.

Here’s to a better outcome with the underway Great Sketch Card Swap 2013…

In between these swaps other artists have contributed and will be recruited, commissioned, donated and traded with as time goes by.

As always, all cards/drawings will be sent to Seth’s mother, widow.

Approaching its third year, the project will continue in hopes that little packages can be sent to Seth’s family, at least, ever Flowering Nose Day (30 January, the day Seth died).
